Jacob Hussung Sr. was born between 1760 and 1770 last found in the 1830 Census
for Gallatin County Kentucky he was known to have owned a house in Warsaw at
the time. Jacob died between April 1830 when the 1830 Census was taken and
Sept. 1831 when his children sold his home and stated he was dead. His wife
Charity was also stated to be born between 1760 and 1770
she was also alive in April 1830, Charity died about January 1832.
Jacob’s last name was listed as Hessong in the 1820 and 1830 Census.
Jacob was the son of Jacob Husong,Hoosong fron Washington County Pa.
Jacob is listed in the 1783 Washington County tax list as Jacob Hoosong Jr.
Jacob moved to Cincinnati Ohio in the late 1790’s. He came to Kentucky in
1818 and settled in Gallatin County.

April 4, 1826
Gallatin Co. Warsaw, Kentucky
This deed made this 4th day of April 1826 between Henry Yates and Milly his wife of Fredricksburg and Jacob Hussung of the same place.
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and sixty dollars in hand paid the receipt whereunto is hereby acknowledged hath sold unto the said Hessong two lots of land in the town of Fredricksburg Gallatin County Kentucky. Knownly the part of the said Town number eighty three and one hundred and seven to have and to hold this said lots and premises with its appurtenance and the said Henry and his heirs forever the said lots and premises and warrants the same against the said Henry and Mill and their heirs or any persons claiming by through or under these if any part of said lots shall be lost by any person better claim in that case the said Henry is to refund the purchase money without interest for any part so lost — witnesses our — and seals the day and date above written.

This indenture made this 23rd day of September one thousand eight hundred and thirty one between Charity Hussung, Jacob Hussung, Nimrod Hussung and Daniel Hussung, heirs and legal representative of Jacob Hussung dec. all of the county of Gallatin and State of Kentucky of the one part and Benjamin Tiller of the county and state afore said of the other part Witnesseth that the said Charity Hussung, Jacob Hussung, Nimrod Hussung and Daniel Hussung for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and thirty dollars in hand paid the receipt where of is here by acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these present do grant bargain and sell and deliver unto the Benjamin Tiller his heirs and assigns one whole and undivided lot in the town of Fredricksburg known on the plat of said town as lot no. 83. Together with all and singularly the appurtenances here unto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the said lot hereby conveyed with the appertenance unto the said Benjamin Tiller his heirs and assigns forever and the said Charity Hussung, Jacob Hussung Nimrod Hussung and Daniel Hussung for themselves them being Executors and administrators the aforesaid lot appurtenance unto the said Benjamin Tiller his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever do and will warrant and defend by these present. This indenture made and entered into this 29th day of June AD 1841 between Jacob Hussung and Elizabeth his wife , Daniel Hussung and Keziah his wife, Nimrod Hussung and Lucinda his wife, all being residents of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The said Daniel Hussung and Jacob Hussung being residents of Gallatin County and the said Nimrod Hussung being a resident of Henry Co. of Commonwealth of forsaid and all of the first part and Benjamin Tiller of the County of Gallatin and the Commonwealth of the forsaid of the second part. Witnesseth that the said above mentioned parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and thirty dollars to them in ensealing and delivery of these presents the full and complete receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold aliened and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain and sell alien and convey unto the said Benjamin Tiller the party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns one whole and undivided lot of ground in the town of Warsaw in the county of Gallatin and Commonwealth of Kentucky. Known and described in the plot of said town as lot number eighty three (83) being the same where on the said Tiller now resides with and singular the rights privileges and appurtenances here unto belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the said lot of ground hereby conveyed with appurtenances rights and immunities. Hereof unto the said Benjamin Tiller his heirs and assigns forever, and the said above named and described parties of the first part for themselves their heirs executors administrators and assigns convenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part that they are the true and lawful owners of the said lot of ground with full power and authority and legal right to sell and convey the same, and that they will warrant and forever defend title thereof to the said Benjamin Tiller his heirs and against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons what so ever. In testimony where of the said Jacob Hussung and Elizabeth Hussung, his wife, Daniel Hussung and Keziah Hussung, his wife, Nimrod Hussung and Lucinda Hussung, his wife, the parties here in of the first part have unto set their hands and seals this day and date first here in written.
